Our Story
Dump Runners was founded in 2018 by a French duo who came to Australia in search of new adventures. While travelling the country — hiking, camping, and off-roading — they experienced Australia’s incredible natural beauty, but also witnessed the growing problem of illegal dumping impacting the landscape.
They saw firsthand how dumped waste harms the environment, affects communities, and limits access to places people love. On more than one occasion, off-road tracks and natural areas were closed or blocked due to debris, making the impact impossible to ignore.
So they decided to do something about it.
“Australia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Seeing illegal dumping damage the landscape — and people’s ability to enjoy it — was deeply upsetting. We wanted to make it easier to act responsibly by encouraging ethical disposal, recycling, and donation wherever possible.”
Today, Dump Runners remains a family-owned and operated business, guided by strong values, environmental responsibility, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
